Go Find Alice is an independent blog written and curated by Alice, a nomadic wanderer who travels frequently for work and leisure. Alice's work primarily focuses on food, culture, travel, photography and identity.
Alice has lived in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Vancouver, Paris, Los Angeles, and Melbourne and calls all these places home. She's traveled to 5 continents, 43 countries and over 400 cities, where she indulges in her curiosity-- discovering hidden eateries, interacting with natives and getting lost in local neighborhoods. Fascinated with relationships between individuals, cultures and societies, she studied both Business Administration and Social Sciences with an Emphasis in Psychology at the University of Southern California. She also studied law at the University of Melbourne.
In many of these documentations and posts, you might find a picture of Vietnam and a blurb about L.A., or a photo of with an old friend next to a mention of W. Somerset Maugham (one of Alice's favorite authors, FYI). That's not a mistake. In the words of Pico Iyer, "many places are parts of other places, and all of us are a part of others. Ultimately, Inner World and Outer World may not be so different, either."
She is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English, intermediate in French and advanced in Shanghainese.
