For my birthday this year, I went to Marea NYC with my mom, who happened to be in town! Marea is an Italian-inspired seafood restaurant located at 240 Central Park South in Manhattan. Opened in 2009 by Chef Michael White, it won the James Beard Award for "Best New Restaurant" in 2010.
